Summer District Office Schedule (June 8 – August 6)
From June 8th to August 6th, the District Office will issue work permits.
Summer processing will be done by appointment only. Each appointment is 15 minutes in length. Students must email [email protected] to request an appointment, and they will receive an auto-reply with specific instructions.
District Summer Hours:

Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Note: After August 6th, the summer schedule ends and work permit issuance will be back to your respective school sites for the start of the new school year.
Summer Expiration & Qualification Rules
When permits are issued over the summer at the District Office, the following rules apply:

Standard Permit: If a student has satisfactory grades and attendance, the work permit issued over the summer will expire on August 31, 2027.

Provisional Permit: If the student has a GPA below 2.0 or excessive absences, they will be issued a work permit for the summer only, expiring on August 31, 2026. This will require them to return to their school site for a renewal when the school year begins.

Steps to Obtaining a Summer Work Permit (June 8 – August 6)

Step 1: Secure Employment – Students must secure a job before obtaining a work permit.

Step 2: Download the Application – Download the Statement of Intent to Employ a Minor and Request for a Work Permit - Certificate of Age from the district website.

Step 3: Complete All Sections > * Students: Fill out the “Minor's Information” and “School Information” sections.

Employers: Complete and sign the “For Employer to Complete” section.

Parents/Guardians: Sign the form to provide consent.

Step 4: Request an Appointment – Email [email protected] to request an appointment slot. You will receive an auto-reply with further instructions.

When you arrive, let the receptionist know you are there for a work permit and be sure to bring a valid ID.
