CTE Medical Assistant Pathway

 

 

The Medical Assistant Pathway is taught at Castaic High School. CTE Body Systems and Disorders is the pre-requisite for CTE Medical Assistant, which is taught after school in our beautiful medical lab. Both courses are high-school level courses.

 

 

Sequence of Courses  Year 1: CTE Body Systems and Disorders A/B   Year 2: CTE Medical Assistant A/B

Did you know that..... CTE Body Systems and Disorders is A-G approved Both courses meet the Practical Art requirement for graduation Prepares students to take the NHS (National Healthcare Association) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Exam or Certified Medical Administrative Assistant Exam.  (Student must be at least 18.)
