good morning castic and future coyotes I am mister voice Lee and I teach video and TV production and I am here today talk to you about to really exciting electives that you could take next year first is video production 1A 1B it is a fine art elective that explores the basics of filming editing and storytelling in video production when a you will learn the basics operations of video camera usage in addition you will learn how to edit your projects in Adobe Premiere Pro it's a great place to start if you've never taken the video production as we cover all of the basics in anyone can take video production 1A some of the projects that we work on in video one day include silent movies TV and school commercials music videos new stories scripted an original Short movie and stop motion animation you will plan all of your projects using scripts and storyboards and use class time to go out on campus and film all of your movies it's an extremely fun and Hands-On class that I know you will love now if you've already video production before or you already have a lot of video production experience have I got an exciting opportunity for you the other class I will be offered next year is beginning TV production it's a practical art class create the school TV show called good morning cast a a in this class you will produce new stories TV commercials entertainment reviews Sports Recaps and create a short movies you'll also participate in video contest with other schools across the United States in addition our state-of-the-art TV production facility is almost finished with construction once complete you will learn how to operate a quick actual TV production control room including switching Graphics teleprompting directing audio producing and anchoring Castaic high school's going to have the most advanced TV production facility in the entire school district and will provide real world training for career opportunities if you're interested in applying to be part of the good morning cast day of Team applications are due by Friday May 1st links to the Google Form application aravale on the school website and on the good morning Castaic Twitter account at GM cast and also be sure to follow good morning castic on YouTube where you can view our previous episodes coyote the choice is yours will it be video production one age learn the basics or beginning TV production to expand on what you already know and to get Career Training in broadcasting if you have any questions about video production class please feel free to email me at Speedway SLI at heart district.org or talk to your counselor I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of you next year in video production
