I got a family has been busy and I will be your child in the temperature this year that I wanted to give you a little bit of background about me I grew up in Santa Clarita I'm a product of the heart District I went to 54 undergrad and got my degree in English and then my own students and so I'm excited to be at Cafe my first year but I have experience with a variety of levels of English and I'm really excited for this year my teaching philosophy I want to create a warm welcoming places want to work we are going to lots of collaboration lots of sweets in reading and writing I do think the ones I that I do think we work on things together and then they do things so I believe in modeling providing examples and multiple offers for practice and I believe it and I think that you know I get excited about the things that we do and I hope that that resonates with the kids and then they're willing to work because of right alongside me if I spectations for them to class engage in the learning process we have ninety minutes together most days when they're here you know what we're doing an active participant in their learning redo Workshop tile and so what that means is that you know we're working on things together we are using each other we're providing feedback I'm helping them you know where were they have an opportunity to ask for help and guide so I really hope they take advantage of that but they also have their peers we do a lot of reading and writing you do Carpe leave them every day which is basically they are given time to read other place we also have a notebook we provide opportunities for them to practice he's still in a less stressful environment opportunities to Mentor text to try new things to put the things that we talked about in class and so I really hope they take advantage of this opportunity for reducing feedback we have went I'm 4 days a week so they can come ask questions talk about late work anything like that I'm always here and available to help them as far as great we are in his face so I know but basically the focus is more on Mastery of a skill rather than just wait for a great and so therefore level you know whether they are approaching it or it's not the are we take any assessment but they must attend together how is no penalty until the five we traded. Once that. And I don't think it works so every 5 weeks they have we have a great team. They need to get anything in before that time if they have a latest name and then would you have a couple important program and it if you are not an observer on your child to talk to them do it if you need help I'm absolutely available and then we have so how can you help support your kids question talk to them about what's going on and what if they're at home with they know we've had a lot of recent we can federalism encourage them to do that that way we can get something we can definitely do during that one time . in the morning identify contact information and email the best way to get ahold of me so we can always set up a time to talk about that is my phone number I have birth. Pat so if you are concerned in any way you know give me a call and I will absolutely.
