2021 Summer Athletic Program

WHO Can Register:  Incoming Freshman and returning students attending Castaic High School in the Fall of 2021.

 

WHEN TO REGISTER: 

  1. On Line: MAY 13 –  to the end of the first week of whichever camp you choose
  2. Anytime of the day from your computer.

Register on-line by visiting https://castaichighschool.myschoolcentral.com/.  Under Product Categories, select SUMMER ATHLETIC PROGRAM. Please select the camp(s) for which you wish to register.  On-line registration ends at the end of the first week of whichever camp you choose. If you fail to sign up during the first week of camp, a $25 late fee will be applied.

  

FEES ARE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF DAYS THAT EACH CAMP RUNS

  • There is no requirement of enrollment in a summer athletic camp to be on a team.
  • Enrollment in a summer athletic camp does not guarantee making an athletic team.
  • Families may take summer vacations during summer athletic camp. There are no prorated costs.

 Confirmation of Registration:  You may print your confirmation from your on-line registration procedures.  Save all confirmation numbers and receipts. 

  

FORMS:  All students MUST create and complete the Athletic paperwork on athleticclearance.com

*****Athletic Clearance for the 2021-2022 school year will OPEN on MAY 13, 2021 

 

Returning Castaic Students can log into their existing account, use the drop down arrow to select the 2021-2022 school year. Student information will autofill and CURRENT athletic physicals will transfer over.  All Signature pages MUST be digitally signed on an annual basis (each new school year). 

 

Students CANNOT PARTICIPATE in any camp unless they have completed a physical examination and submitted and uploaded all completed forms on or prior to the first day of camp.

 

Physicals: Your child needs a valid physical (within the last year) in order to participate in camp. The physical may be completed by any physician. If you need a location to get your physical completed. See below to schedule a physical.

INSURANCE – Under state law, school districts are required to ensure that all members of school athletic teams have accidental injury insurance that covers medical and hospital expenses. This insurance requirement can be met by the school district offering insurance or other health benefits that cover medical and hospital expenses.  Some pupils may qualify to enroll in a no-cost or low-cost local, state, or federally sponsored health insurance program.  For information about these programs, call Medi-Cal Healthy Families at 1-800-880-5305.  Student Insurance can also be purchased through Myers-Stevens, & Toohey &  Co., Inc. at 1-800-827-4695.

 

Refund Policy:  Cancellation deadline is one week after the starting date of the first camp for which you have registered.  You may receive a refund within one week of the camp start date minus a $25.00 processing fee.  Medical refunds require a doctor’s note.  Approved refunds will be processed ­­­­the first week of August 2021.
