Coach Levi was born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley. He draws on experience as both a player and a coach from the collegiate level to the youth level and everything else in between.
He recently served as an assistant coach at Masters University for the Women’s Program and Hart High School for the boys’ team. At both schools, he had the opportunity to work with some great leaders who helped to mold him into the coach that he is today.
This past summer, he was fortunate enough to work with some great young men through his Strive Basketball team, a player development program that seeks to help athletes reach their potential on and off the floor.
He greatly appreciates all former coaches and players that have taught him more about the game that he loves and made this unique opportunity possible for him.
Levi currently lives in Santa Clarita with his wife, Leah, and their three kids, Abe, Meadow and Rowan. All of whom, make it possible for him to chase his passion.
Coach Jose Leon has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1988 along with his wife, Mary, and their 5 children, Philip, Nicole, Gabby, Katie, and Allie. All of Coach Leon’s family attended the local school districts in Santa Clarita. Four of his children are college graduates. Coach Leon has coached youth soccer in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1993. In addition to coaching many of the club teams within his own club, Select Cities Santa Clarita, he has also coached high school soccer since 2002 in both the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys. As the head girls’ soccer coach at Granada Charter High School for four years, he led his athletes to 2nd place in CIF championships twice and won the CIF Division 1 championship. Spending seven years coaching at LA Valley College, he helped turn around a program that never had a winning record prior to his arrival. Coach Leon brings many years of experience to Castaic High School and is excited to be a part of the Coyote Athletic Program.
